About Rosemary Mount care home
“ I have been in Rosemary Mount since April 2007 having sold my bungalow - it is now my home. During that time I have been very well looked after in all respects. The staff are always very kind and helpful. The food and accommodation is excellent. I am 95 years old and could not wish for a better home in which to live. ”
Donald - resident
Rosemary Mount is a 3 star residential care home, run by the West Sussex Housing Society. In this retirement home we provide long term care, short stay, convalescence and respite care.
There is lots of information on this page covering such things as location, facilities, fees, food, the staff and key documents for download. You can either read it all, or use the short cuts given in the ‘page contents’ above.
Rosemary Mount is a pleasant house in East Worthing with gardens for the residents and easy parking for visitors. Our home has undergone a major refurbishment creating nine ensuite bedrooms and light and airy lounge and dining areas. In addition we now have a sun room for our residents and an improved reception area. This was formally unveiled in February 2009.
The home is within easy reach of all the facilities that a major seaside town can offer - Worthing has an excellent shopping center, theatres, cinemas and a wide promenade. The local train station is close by and there are regular bus services at hand.
We have always aimed and worked towards making this a happy home for the residents and the staff. We warmly invite you to come and visit us - just check first , as we might all be out on one of our outings!

Our Fees
Fees start from £435 per week depending on care needs and facilities required.

What we eat - menus
Good food is so important to the happiness of the elderly - we believe that tasty and nutritious food is right at the heart of a good home. Rosemary Mount prides itself on its home cooking and we are frequently complimented on it by residents and visitors [so time your visits accordingly!]
Here you can see a sample menu for a day - there is lots of choice, along with snacks between times. Of course we encourage our residents to eat together in the dining room, but they are free to have meals in their own rooms.
Besides the main meals, there is an early morning drink between 6am & 7.30am, morning coffee and biscuits at 10.30am and a night time drink with snacks from 9pm. Residents are also very welcome to ask staff to bring them drink and a snack at any time, night or day.
