PAT is a registered charity and stands for Pets As Therapy. The Society has for some time been aware of the benefit of regular contact with animals and the joy that an animal can bring.  Romans now have their own PAT dog called Oscar.  He is a three year old golden retriever who visits the home every Thursday morning with his owner Linda Spring.  Oscar is enjoying the attention he receives from the residents in the way of pats and hugs.  We hope to have some photos in our gallery of Oscar, Linda and our residents.
