'No profit' - what does this mean?
West Sussex Housing Society was founded as a non profit organisation. This means that no profits are lost to share holders, but instead all the financial benefits to used to the benefit of the houses and our residents.
We use the ‘profits’ in two ways:
- maintaining and improving the fabric of the Home
- keeping fees to a minimum
Being non-profit does not mean that we do things in a slap-dash or make do way - as can be seen by the 3 star or excellent ratings given by the Commision for Social Care Inspection for our houses.
